MADER Permanent Secretary visits IAOM, IP provincial delegations

In February, the Permanent Secretary of MADER, Dárcia Nhancale, paid a working visit to the delegations of the Instituto do Algodão e Oleaginosas de Moçambique, IP, in the provinces of Manica, Sofala and Nampula.
This ministry figure is responsible for, among other things, coordinating MADER's internal and supervisory bodies in the implementation of sectoral and government planning instruments, as well as managing the state's assets, financial and human resources.
The aim of this activity was to support the IAOM, IP delegations, together with local bodies, in harmonizing sectoral plans and managing existing resources, in order to overcome the challenges they face due to the scarcity of resources.
During the visit, the SP held meetings with the following entities and sectors: Nampula Province: i) Mr. Jaime Bessa Neto, Secretary of State; ii) Mr. Graciano Júlio Francisco, Director of the Provincial Economic and Finance Services and iii) Mr. Juma Cateria Assane, Director of the Provincial Economic Activities Services. Manica Province: i) Ms. Angelina Maria Luís Nguiraze, Administrator of Guro District; ii) Mr. Manuel Almeida, Director of the Secretary of State's office and iii) Mr. Carlos Comisal, Provincial Director of Economy and Finance. Tete Province: i) Mr. Ivo Cassicai, Director of the Secretary of State's office and ii) Ms. Jacinta Mtaia, Director of the Provincial Services for Economic Activities. Sofala province: i) Mr. Araújo Francisco, Director of the Provincial Economic and Finance Services; and ii) Ângelo Dista, Director of the Provincial Economic Activities Services, as well as oilseed operators and economic agents in all the provinces visited.
